Dr. Frank Lin, President of SecuX Technology Inc., delivers a keynote in Amsterdam as SecuX debuts the PUF-based Evidence Key and PUF Server, built on iMQ Secure Element chips with a NeoPUF hardware root of trust
HSINCHU, Taiwan – October 9, 2026 – SecuX Technology Inc., a Taiwan-based hardware security company, presented a silicon-to-device chain of trust for autonomous AI at World Summit AI 2026 (WSAI 2026), held in Amsterdam during October 7–8, together with TripleID, the core technology partner for the joint solution. At the Global AI Trust Alliance (GAITA) session, Dr. Frank Lin, President of SecuX Technology Inc., delivered a keynote titled "NeoPUF-Rooted Security: Safeguarding the AI World in the Post-Quantum Era."
As autonomous AI agents move into critical workflows and quantum computing threatens today's cryptography, software-only security can no longer keep pace. GAITA is driving the Verifiable AI Trust Chain (VAITC), an open, interoperable framework for AI accountability and the foundation for accountability computing. Its core principle: AI must never be the sole witness to its own actions. In his keynote, Dr. Frank Lin showed how SecuX and its partners turn that goal into deployable hardware.
From Silicon to Device: A Hardware Root of Trust for AI
Dr. Frank Lin explained that as AI robots and autonomous agents act on their own, each machine needs a unique, tamper-resistant identity that cannot be cloned or forged. SecuX PUF-based Evidence Dongle and Evidence Drive Dongle devices are built on iMQ Technology's Secure Element chips, which use NeoPUF physical unclonable function technology from eMemory, integrated by PUFsecurity. Each chip derives its identity and signing keys from its own physical characteristics at the silicon level.
This gives every SecuX device a unique hardware identity that can be used to sign data, records, and media. The result is a verifiable, auditable basis for accountability computing, from edge devices to cloud infrastructure.
SecuX and TripleID: Hardware Trust from Person to Machine
As the core technology partner for the joint solution, TripleID provides its Accountability Computing Infrastructure (ACI), which integrates identity and authorization binding, evidence witnessing and preservation, and independent verification. ACI extends hardware trust rooted in chips and devices into a verifiable chain of evidence for AI activities.
Together, SecuX and TripleID presented a portfolio of end-product security solutions, all embedded with iMQ Secure Element chips:
• SecuX PUF-based Evidence Key and Evidence Drive Key – The world's first GAITA Evidence Key, powered by a PUF-based hardware root of trust. Users can create, store and prove their own evidence in one device, signing files, records and media with an unclonable hardware identity. The Evidence Drive Key adds 128GB of internal storage for securely storing signed evidence directly on the device. Both come with USB-C and a USB-A adapter and are 100% developed and manufactured in Taiwan.
• SecuX PUF Server – An enterprise-grade platform deployed on PCIe cards with Root CA management. It enables tamper-proof LLM token metering, so AI services can be billed fairly and audited by both sides.
• Autonomous Machine Passport – Gives AI robots, drones and edge AI agents a globally unique, verifiable hardware identity for secure machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication and automated authorization.
• AI Robot Evidence Black Box – Cryptographically signs AI prompts, inference logs, action records and video, storing them in a tamper-evident record that can support legal and insurance claims and disputes.
• Visual Trust (Anti-Deepfake) – Embeds secure element technology in image sensors and ISP processors to cryptographically sign photos and videos at the moment of capture, verifying their origin and helping combat deepfakes.
A Silicon-to-Device Ecosystem
Dr. Frank Lin noted that eMemory (silicon IP), PUFsecurity (crypto IP), iMQ Technology (Secure Element chips) and SecuX (turnkey security devices) together form an integrated silicon-to-device chain of trust, which TripleID's ACI extends into a verifiable chain of evidence for AI activities.
"This is the first reference implementation to bring different ecosystem players together to build a chain of trust from silicon to AI," said Benjamin May, Executive Director of GAITA. "It marks a significant step forward in advancing accountability computing."
"For years, SecuX has used secure element hardware to protect people's digital assets. Today we are applying the same foundation to protect AI decisions and the identities of autonomous machines," said Dr. Frank Lin, President of SecuX Technology Inc. "As AI and quantum computing converge, software-only security has reached its limits, and hardware is the foundation of digital trust. Together with TripleID and our global partners, we will ensure that every byte of data, every AI decision and every autonomous machine can be authenticated and audited with confidence."
