The blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape is evolving rapidly, yet women remain significantly underrepresented in this space, making up only 13% of Web3 startup founders and receiving just 2.2% of total venture capital investments in the U.S. in early 2024. Despite making up nearly half of the global workforce, women account for only 13% of Web3 startup founders, with a mere 3% leading exclusively female-run ventures. Even more striking, in the first half of 2024, female-founded startups received just 2.2% of total venture capital investments in the U.S.
