How many accounts does a SecuX wallet support?

The SecuX wallets (including W10, W20, and V20) could support up to 500 accounts, fully capable of meeting the users’ needs regarding multiple cryptocurrencies and tokens. Accounts can be added to your SecuX wallet via our SecuXess web application and SecuX Mobile App.

How do I receive funds from other sources to my SecuX wallet?

On how to receive funds, check out the following webpages for step-by-step guide:

• on SecuXess: https://secuxtech.com/howitworks/how-to-receive-on-secuxess-web-app/
• on SecuX Mobile: https://secuxtech.com/howitworks/how-to-receive-funds-on-secux-mobile-app/

Please make sure that the currency you wish to receive is set to the correct network (ie BEP20, ERC20, TRC20, etc).

Sending coins/tokens to an address on a different or unsupported network may result in unrecoverable loss of funds.

How do I send funds from my SecuX wallet?

I have transferred some crypto coins from exchange to my SecuX wallet many hours ago. Why I cannot find them appear on my wallet?

Any time you complete a transaction, you need to connect your wallet to SecuXess or the app “SecuX Mobile” (if it is W20 or V20, which is equipped with bluetooth) in order to synchronize the latest information from the blockchains to your offline SecuX device.

Cryptocurrency security requires a huge amount of computing time and space, and in this case, the price reflects urgency. If a lower-fee encryption plan is chosen, it may take a longer time until your transaction is included in the next available block (this is to be determined by the respective network). In some cases, it could take as long as a few days. There could also be the possibility of an incomplete transaction or incorrect addresses. To check the status of your transaction, you can use a blockchain explorer and enter the TX number.

For example, if you would like to check transactions made on the Ethereum network, you can use “Etherscan” at https://etherscan.io/ or transactions made on Bitcoin network at https://blockchair.com/

06 I have transferred some VeChain tokens to my SecuX wallet. Why I cannot find them appear on my wallet?

SecuX wallets only support VeChain (VEN) ERC-20 tokens but do not support VeChain (VET) mainnet. If you have transferred ERC-20 tokens and the transaction was successfully completed, you need to connect your wallet to SecuXess to sync with the blockchain network, in order for the transaction to be shown on your wallet.

However, if you have transferred VET coins on VeChain mainnet, they will not show up in your wallet.

Will my transaction vanish on the blockchain?

The status of the transaction depends on the higher or lower network fees paid and network traffic. In the event of a failed transaction, the cryptocurrencies you sent will not be deducted from your account, but you might still be charged network fee based on which network you use. Once the transaction is confirmed, sent from your SecuX wallet and processed to the blockchain, it cannot be canceled, altered or refunded.

Please make sure that the currency you wish to receive or send is set to the correct network (ie BEP20, ERC20, TRC20, etc).

Sending coins/tokens to an address on a different or unsupported network may result in unrecoverable loss of funds.

How do I add ERC-20/BEP-20/TRC-20/SPL tokens?

If you have the receiving address to the corresponding network, ETH network for instance, and the transaction is confirmed “completed” on the blockchain, your corresponding account will automatically receive the tokens. You do NOT need to add any token before/after receiving the tokens.

Simply connect your SecuX device to “SecuXess” via Chrome on computers, or the “SecuX Mobile” app (if it is W20 or V20, which is equipped with bluetooth), and enter “Manage tokens” to enable the token’s display in the portfolio.

Instructions for “Manage tokens”, please refer to the following pages:

• on SecuXess: https://secuxtech.com/howitworks/manage-erc-tokens-on-secuxess-web-app/

• on SecuX Mobile: https://secuxtech.com/howitworks/manage-erc-20-tokens-on-secux-mobile-app/

The concept extends to BEP-20, TRC-20 and SPL tokens as well.

Do SecuX wallets support Native Segwit addresses on Bitcoin?

Yes, SecuX wallets (including W10, W20, and V20) offer support for various Bitcoin address formats. When creating a new Bitcoin account through SecuXess or the “SecuX Mobile” app, you have the flexibility to select the desired address format for both receiving and sending BTC.

The supported Bitcoin address formats are as follows:

  • “Segwit” addresses begin with “3”.
  • “Native Segwit” addresses start with “bc1q”.
  • “Taproot” addresses start with “bc1p”.

For the “Legacy” format (addresses starting with “1”), SecuX wallets allow for the recovery of existing Legacy accounts. However, it’s important to note that the creation of new Bitcoin accounts in the “Legacy format” is not feasible.
